Kaitlin & Sam
Kaitlin grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon, and Sam grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We feel very connected to where we grew up and how it shaped us. Our love for small towns and how much we value community is something we have in common as friends and now retreat partners. When it came to deciding where to offer a retreat, as lovely as Winnipeg is, there is a special Northern magic in the Yukon we would love to share with you.
This combination of community and nature is potent, and we hope you'll join us in fall of 2025 for some magic in the Yukon.
Sam Squire
Writer, counselor & meditation guide.
Sam Squire is a Nakoda woman, therapist, writer, meditation guide, and entrepreneur. She helps people reconnect with themselves and spirituality through her one-on-one mentorship programs (Reconnect to Self and Reconnect to Spirit) and in-person retreats. She also shares a podcast and Substack, both named Life as Ceremony.
Sam’s spiritual exploration and cultural reconnection have shaped how she relates to life and all of creation—with mindfulness, gratitude, and respect at the forefront. She believes that by embracing Ceremony—anything that brings you into presence and connection—we can reconnect with our true selves and spirituality. This journey has shown her that life is the greatest ceremony of all, and she’s here to help others remember that, too.

Kaitlin works in a playful, collaborative way, holding a safe space to untangle and dissolve barriers or blocks, and bringing to surface your truth. She is here to remind you to always keep room in your heart for magic but also feel safe, seen, and heard along the way.
